Langdon, 48, before becoming an executive at Smoothie King Center in 2019, was an assistant general manager for the Brooklyn Nets.
Detroit has previously considered Tim Connelly of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Dennis Lindsay of the Dallas Mavericks and Mark F. Worsley, Chicago Bulls camp as well.
Additionally, he contacted Jon Horkst, general manager of the Milwaukee Bucks, but was denied a meeting with his employer.
The Pistons have been the league’s worst performing team for two straight seasons, and their lottery draft picks in the 2024 class have dropped to 5th.
